What is the Ontario PNP?

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) allows the province of Ontario to nominate skilled workers, international graduates, and entrepreneurs for permanent residency in Canada. Through various streams, Ontario invites eligible candidates who can contribute to its growing economy and fill labor market shortages.

One of the key streams under OINP is the Human Capital Priorities Stream, aligned with the Express Entry system. Your eligibility is determined by factors like age, education, work experience, language ability, and adaptability – all of which are scored through a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

How Does the Ontario PNP Calculator Work?

Our Ontario PNP Calculator is designed to give you an estimated CRS score and help you understand your chances of receiving a Notification of Interest (NOI) from Ontario. Simply input your information related to the following criteria:

  • Age
  • Education Level
  • Official Language Proficiency (IELTS/CELPIP/TEF)
  • Work Experience (Canada and Overseas)
  • Spouse Factors (if applicable)
  • Adaptability (Canadian education, relatives in Ontario, job offers)

Once you enter your data, the calculator will generate a score and show your potential eligibility for Ontario’s Express Entry streams.

Benefits of Using the Ontario PNP Calculator

  • Instant Score Estimation
  • Understand Eligibility for OINP Express Entry Streams

Who Should Use This Calculator?

This calculator is ideal for:

  • Skilled professionals interested in working and living in Ontario
  • Express Entry candidates seeking provincial nomination
  • International graduates planning to settle in Ontario
  • Employers or consultants evaluating client eligibility
  • Anyone exploring immigration pathways to Canada via Ontario

How OINP Express Entry Works

Ontario regularly selects candidates from the Express Entry pool based on high-demand occupations, CRS scores, and specific labor market needs. If you meet the minimum eligibility and score criteria, you may receive a Notification of Interest (NOI). After being nominated, you receive an additional 600 CRS points, virtually guaranteeing an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Permanent Residency in the next Express Entry draw.

What’s a Good Score for Ontario PNP?

Ontario does not always publish a fixed cut-off, but past draws have shown NOI invitations going to candidates with CRS scores between 400–490, depending on the occupation and draw type. Having a strong CRS score and relevant work experience in targeted occupations significantly increases your chances.

Important Streams Under OINP:

  • Human Capital Priorities Stream (Express Entry aligned)
  • French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream
  • Skilled Trades Stream
  • Employer Job Offer Streams
  • Masters and PhD Graduate Streams
  • Entrepreneur Stream

Our calculator is mainly focused on helping you assess your score for the Express Entry aligned streams.
