Canadian Experience Class Requirements

Applicants to the Canadian Experience Class must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Possess at least 12 months of full-time (or equivalent part-time) skilled work experience in Canada within the last three years, obtained while holding a valid work permit. Note that experience gained in two different NOC codes is permissible, provided both are skilled positions and the experience was acquired legally.
- Intend to reside outside the province of Quebec.
- Demonstrate language proficiency in English or French, meeting the minimum required levels foreach language ability (speaking, reading, listening, and writing). The required levels are outlined in the table below:

Notably, work experience gained through self-employment and work experience gained while a full-time student are not eligible under the Canadian Experience Class.
