SINP Points Calculator

To be eligible for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), you need to score at least 60 points.

Eligibility Pathways

Choose the pathway that applies to you:

• International Skilled Worker: Employment Offer: If you have a job offer in Saskatchewan and meet the criteria below.
• International Skilled Worker: Saskatchewan Express Entry: If you have an Express Entry profile number and meet the criteria below.
• International Skilled Worker: Occupations In-Demand: If you meet the criteria below, but do not have a job offer or an Express Entry profile number.

FACTOR I: LABOUR MARKET SUCCESS

Factor 1: Education and Training (Maximum 23 points)

• Masters or Doctorate degree (Canadian equivalency): 23 points
• Bachelors degree OR at least a three-year degree: 20 points
• Trade certification equivalent to journeyperson status in Saskatchewan: 20 points
• Canadian equivalency diploma (2 years): 15 points
• Canadian equivalency certificate (1-2 years): 12 points

Factor 2: Skilled Work Experience (Maximum 15 points)

• 5 years of work experience in the past 5 years: 10 points
• 4 years of work experience in the past 5 years: 8 points
• 3 years of work experience in the past 5 years: 6 points
• 2 years of work experience in the past 5 years: 4 points
• 1 year of work experience in the past 5 years: 2 points

Factor 3: Language Ability (Maximum 20 points)

• CLB 8 and higher (first language): 20 points
• CLB 7 (first language): 18 points
• CLB 6 (first language): 16 points
• CLB 5 (first language): 14 points
• CLB 4 (first language): 12 points
• CLB 8 or higher (second language): 10 points
• CLB 7 (second language): 8 points
• CLB 6 (second language): 6 points
• CLB 5 (second language): 4 points
• CLB 4 (second language): 2 points

Factor 4: Age (Maximum 12 points)

• 18-21 years: 8 points
• 22-34 years: 12 points
• 35-45 years: 10 points
• 46-50 years: 8 points
• More than 50 years: 0 points

Maximum Points for Factor 1: 80 points

FACTOR II: CONNECTION TO SASKATCHEWAN LABOUR MARKET & ADAPTABILITY

• High-skilled employment offer from a Saskatchewan employer (Employment Offer subcategory only): 30 points
• Close family relative in Saskatchewan (Occupation In-Demand and Saskatchewan Express Entry subcategories only): 20 points
• Past work experience in Saskatchewan (at least 12 months in the past 5 years): 5 points
• Past student experience in Saskatchewan (at least one full-time academic year): 5 points

Maximum Points Total: 110 points
