Investment NSW has confirmed two upcoming skilled migration invitation rounds scheduled for April 2026, providing fresh opportunities for eligible candidates seeking nomination.
The Subclass 190 (Skilled Nominated visa) invitation round is set to take place in the week commencing April 13, 2026. This visa pathway is aimed at skilled professionals who can contribute to the state’s workforce needs and are seeking permanent residency in Australia.
Following this, the Subclass 491 (Skilled Work Regional visa) – Pathway 2 invitation round will be conducted in the week commencing April 27, 2026. This pathway is designed for candidates currently working in regional New South Wales and looking to secure state nomination.
Applicants are strongly advised to ensure that their SkillSelect Expression of Interest (EOI) is fully updated, accurate, and valid prior to these invitation rounds. Any discrepancies or outdated information may impact the chances of receiving an invitation.
